Sale-A-Bration Saturday 2.12.11

Hi Stamping Friends!!
I'm so excited today because I am having a Stampin' Up! workshop this afternoon for Syreeta and 17 of her friends!!  And since one of the cards I am demoing uses the Punch Bunch set, I thought I would share it with you for Sale-A-Bration Saturday.

Stamps:  Punch Punch
Paper:  Playdate DSP, Old Olive, Crumb Cake, So Saffron, Whisper White
Accessories:  Real Red Grosgrain, Top Note die, Scallop Square Punch, Circle Punches, Designer Brights Buttons, Square Lattice Embossing Folder

Tool Challenge:  CCEE STAMPERS  CCEE1106 Embossing Folders

Syreeta said she is very interested in the Big Shot, so I wanted to showcase it at the workshop.  A fun and easy technique using the Big Shot is Inlaid Embossing.  Just glue down some shapes onto a piece of cardstock and then run them through the Big Shot with your favorite embossing folder.  Super easy and adds lots of great texture.

Here are the other projects I will be sharing at the workshop:

Syretta specifically requested to see the Milk Carton die in action, so I came up with this fun treat container.  What I love about the Got Treats set is it can be used for any occasion throughout the entire year!  The Glimmer paper heart and Basic Rhinestone had some sparkle.

This is the Make and Take the guests at the workshop will be stamping today.  I love the Create A Cupcake set in the Occasions mini catalog.  The matching punch makes it so easy to use!  This card was CASEd from another demo.  I can't remember the demo's name, but I saw it on Stampin' Connection, a demo-only online community where all SU! demos share their creations.  Another fabulous reason to becaome a SU! demo!!

Here are the thank you gifts I made to give to Syreeta for hosting the workshop:

Stamps:  Filled With Love, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper:  Melon Mambo, Peach Parfait, Whisper White
Accessories:  Petal Cone Die, Scallop Circle Punch, Circle Punch, Heart Embosslit, Large Heart Punch, Modern Label Punch, Basic Rhinestones

3-D Challenge:  THE STAMP-A-HOLICS #156

This little bags of Conversation Hearts goes into the hanging heart bag.  I thought it would be good to show another way to use the Top Note die.

I bought the matchbook notebook at the Dollar Spot inside Target and then covered it in a piece of DSP from the Sweet Stitches collection.  Love the bright colors in that paper!  I finished it off with a piece of Melon Mambo punched with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch, some tiny flowers punched with the Itty Bitty Shapes in Melon Mambo, So Saffron, and Peach Parfait.  Then added some Basic Pearls to the centers.  The For You senitment is from the Great Friends set.

I'm all packed and ready to go for the workshop.  My Garden Gala tote looks fabulous!  I hope I didn't forget anything!

I hope you can stop back by tomorrow.  I will be showing off some of my favorite Stampin' Up! creations I found on the web this week.

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Stamping!

I just love these posts you do for the challenges. So many fun ideas in one place! Love the sweet stitches card and the inlaid embossing on the first card. Your efforts with this technique gave me the courage to give it a try with my club this past weekend. They loved it!
