Fresh Colors!!

Hi Stamping Friends!!

I'm totally addicted to our 1x8 Cello Bags!! It started with some little St. Patrick's day treat I made for my stamp club gals. I filled them with a rainbow of Skittles and finished them off with a cute little tag. They were so simple and easy to do and they looked so darling, that I decided to make them as gifts for the the Fundraiser Crop I'm attending on Saturday...

I just love how they turned out!! I went to Target on Tuesday and the Easter candy was 30%. I love a great deal!! I sent my mom today to get more Easter M&M's for my SIL's upcoming baby shower and they were 50% off!!! The Cello Bags are an amazing deal too. You get 50 bags for only $2.50!!

I made 44 of these cuties and it didn't take me long at all. The easiest part is filling the bags. The part I find most tedious is tying the ribbon. I used all retired card stock and ribbon for this project. The card stock colors are Gable Green (super old!) and Lovely Lilac. The Grosgrain Ribbon (my fave and I miss it!) is Daffodil Delight. The sentiment is stamped using Regal Rose.

Speaking of retired colors.... (didn't you love that segue!) Stampin' Up! just announced today that they will have "new" colors in the upcoming catalog!!!!

I'm so excited about this!! I always love when Stampin' Up! freshens up our color families. Colors come in and out of style so quickly these days and I love that Stampin' Up! tries to stay current with the home and fashion trends. Here is a list of what colors are coming and what colors are going.

Notice that there is really only one new color, Smoky Slate. All the other "new" colors have been In-Colors from the past couple of years. Love that they are keeping Calypso Coral and Pool Party!! Here is a color visual that I borrowed from a fellow demonstrator so you can see the "new" colors.

If you like to keep stock of the retiring colors, be sure to place your orders soon. As of today, those colors are considered "retired" and will only be available while supplies last.

And speaking of ordering... (another great segue right?!) This weekend only, Stampin' Up! is offering FREE shipping on all orders (does not include expedited shipping)!! That's a 10% savings!!!

So visit my website this weekend and get your order shipped for FREE!!!

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Stamping!
Krystal
