Pretty Trash

Hi Stamping Friends!!

At my last two Spring Stampin' Club gatherings, I've created a 4th card for my gals to make, instead of our typical 3. The 4th card being a clean and simple card that can be made in 5 minutes or less. I want them to know that stamping can be easy and simple. It doesn't always have to involve lots of steps and "stuff". And besides, if you are making a card for a non-crafty person, like a 5 year old, they are not always going to appreciate all the time and effort you put into creating a stamping masterpiece. These are the kinds of cards I like to call "pretty trash". They look pretty and nice, but you know they are going to get thrown away just as soon as you walk off the premises. :)

PATTERNED OCCASIONS

Super easy. Super quick. Just punch out various circles and glue to a white card base. This would be a great card to send out after a child's birthday party. The Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper and the Patterned Occasions stamp set are both part of the Sale-A-Bration promotion going on now at my Stampin' Up! online store. Just order $50 worth of fabulous Stampin' Up! products and you can choose either of these items (and many others!) for FREE!!!

Now since I'm not typically a clean and simple kind of a girl, I decided to do a "step-up" version of this card. This is where you take a good card and make it super, amazingly, awesome!!

PATTERNED OCCASIONS Version 2

Here I added a Tangerine Tango card base and embossed the Whisper White layer with the Honeycomb embossing folder. I also added a button (FREE during Sale-A-Bration!), a butterfly, a flower, some bling, and a ribbon (also FREE during Sale-A-Bration!). Plus I embossed the card stock circles. This is typically the kind of card I create. But when I'm making something for a 5 year old, you can bet I'll be creating some "pretty trash". :)

Find out more about Sale-A-Bration by visiting my Stampin' Up! website. The link is on the side bar.

I'm getting ready for my Delightful Dozen card class this Saturday. Mr. Brown delivered all  the supplies yesterday and I made everyone a gift bag with their supplies in it. I'll show pics on Friday. Hope you are having a great day!

Happy Stamping!

Spring Stampin' Club - February Version

Hi Stampin' Friends!

Today I had so much fun stamping with my Spring Stampin' Club gals. We always have such a great time together!! A couple of gals were not there because of sickness and stuff. They were missed. I thought I would share the cards we made today. All were CASEd from cards I've seen on Pinterest and Stampin' Connection (an online website for Stampin' Up! demonstrators). And all of the cards were based around items in the Sale-A-Bration catalog and the Spring Mini catalog. Enjoy!

Next up on my stamping agenda... my Delightful Dozen Card Class!!! I have a total of 8 ladies coming next Saturday, which is the perfect amount for my home. I'm really looking forward to meeting some new stampers! I've been having such a good time designing and prepping the cards for this class that I've decided to come up with more class/kit ideas in the future. So stay tuned!!

Until then... Happy Stamping!

Oh! P.S.... if you are a "pinhead" like myself, go check out my boards on Pinterest!

Delightful Cards!!

Hi Stamping Friends!!

Just wanted to share some of the cards we will be making at my upcoming Delightful Dozen card class. If you live in the Tulare County area, come join us for a fabulous day of stamping!! I just want to say that these cards have all been CASEd from cards I've seen on the internet. I'm not one for reinventing the wheel. I just love how the stamping community is so great about sharing what they love!! So thanks to all the original designers for sharing their creativity with me!!

I'm so excited for this class!! I've been having so much fun designing the cards for it. It's been awhile since I've felt motivatd to stamp. This has really got my creativity moving again. Next week I'll be back with the rest of the samples. If you have any questions about the class, contact me. If you already own the Delightful Dozen stamp set, or any of the other items on the list, we can trade them out for other products. What is really awesome about this class, is that you get $50 worth of products, so the cards are essentially FREE!!! How great is that?! And because it is Sale-A-Bration, you get extra freebies on top of it!!

Hope you have a wonderful week!
Happy Stampin'!
