I Love Luci!!!

Hey Stampin' Friends!!

I wanted to share a little story with you just to tell you how much I LOVE the Stampin' Up! community...

I planned a class for October using the Happy Scenes stamp set and Hearth & Home Framelits Bundle. I already had customers placing orders for these items to attend the class. When I received my bundle I only received the stamp set, not the Framelits. They were on backorder... until the day before my class!!! I knew there was no way I would get them in time to prep for my class. PANIC!!!!

I became a Stampin' Up! demonstrator in 2006. At the time I had no intentions of ever having any other customer besides myself. My sister was my upline and her customer base consisted of herself as well. We were strictly "hobby" demos. Until I found Splitcoast Stampers.

Splitcoast Stampers is a website that was started by a SU! demo that was moving away from her customers and her downline. In order to stay connected, she put this website together where they could share ideas and information. I'm not sure exactly when she opened it up to all stampers, but I'm sure glad she did!!

I pretty much learned most of what I know about stamping and Stampin' Up! because of the information freely shared at Splitcoast. (You shoud go check it out: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/Everyone has always been so helpful and encouraging. They have a separate "closed" section just for Stampin' Up! demos. And this is the only place I could think of to find help with my backorder issue.

I do not have an active upline so I have no other SU! demo to turn to when faced with a stamping dilemma. Except for Splitcoast. I've been a member since joing Stampin' Up! in 2006. I've bounced in and out over the years. I used to be a "regular" as in I was on Every. Single. Night. Now I just pop in occasionally to find out the latest news.

It was here that I came crying to my fellow demos for help. And help they did!!! Luci (love her!) graciously offered to send me her unopened Framelits if I would send her mine when they finally shipped. The amazing thing is Luci and I don't know each other. We've never met. We don't even live in the same state!! This total stranger trusted me simply because we are fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators. How awesome is that?!

It's nice to know there are still beautiful people in this world. And of course she sent a gorgeous card in the envelope too!!!

THANK YOU LUCI!!! YOU SAVED THE DAY!!!

So I finally can plan my Tulare County class for next weekend. I started playing around today and came up with my first card for the class. Here is a little sneak peek:

So excited for how this turned out!! I can't wait to stamp with all my stamping friends!!

And don't forget to go visit the gallery at Splitcoast too. They have every Stampin' Up! stamp set ever created listed in alphabetical order. It's awesome.

Thanks for stopping by!
Come again tomorrow when I will be announcing my October Online Stamp Class.
Now go STAMP SOMETHING!
Krystal
