Stampin' Up! Suite Seasons - Cookie Cutter Reindeer

Hi Stampin' Friends!!

When I first looked at the Holiday Catalog, I picked out the stamp sets that I had thought I would offer Online Card Classes for. The first bundle I chose was the Cookie-Cutter Christmas stamp set and the coordinating Cookie-Cutter Builder Punch.

But this thing called grad school got in way and I wasn't able to offer any classes this quarter. But if I had offered an online class, this is definitely one of the cards I would have used.

Stamps: Suite Seasons, Cookie-Cutter Christmas
Ink: Early Espresso, Real Red
Marker: Soft Suede
Paper: Real Red, Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Red Glimmer, Candy Cane Lane DSP
Accessories: Cookie-Cutter Builder Punch, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Cable Knit EF, CAndy Cane Lane Baker's Twine

I seriously adore this little reindeer!! He is just the cutest!! I colored him just a little bit with the Soft Suede marker, then I painted just a little bit of water on it using my Aqua Painters. I wish I would have been a little more daring and added a little bit more color, but I didn't want to ruin it.

Also, my picture whited out the Cable Knit Embossing Folder. It looks so much better IRL.

Here is a close-up shot from my phone:

You can get the Suite Seasons stamp set on sale for 25% off until November 30th.

There are only a few days left to shop the AWESOME Online Extravaganza Sale!!

Make sure you stop by my Stampin' Up! website TODAY!!!

I have two more Cookie-Cutter Christmas cards to share so I hope you will stop by again.

Happy Stamping!!

Stampin' Up! Suite Seasons - Cookie Cutter Scarecrow

Hi Stampin' Friends!!!

Best thing about working at a school is you get a whole week off for Thanksgiving!!

And even though I have a bajillion things I should be doing, I decided that I was going to spend one day this week stamping.

SO. MUCH. FUN!!!!

Stamps: Suite Seasons, Cookie-Cutter Halloween, Hardwood
Ink: Early Espresso, Cajun Craze
Markers: Pumpkin Pie, Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze
Paper: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla, retired DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits. Layering Oval Framelits, Woodland EF, Cookie Cutter Builder Punch, Burlap Ribbon, retired Espresso ribbon

I like the "In Everything Give Thanks" stamp, but there is an image on it that I didn't want to include on my card. So here is what I did:

First: I covered the part I didn't want with a piece of clear tape.

Second: I inked my stamp.

Third: I removed the piece of tape.

Finally: I stamped my image.

Super easy!! Just make sure your stamp is completely clean before you try this. Otherwise the part you don't want stamped may have residual ink on it from a previous use. Then you might end up with some "ghost" stamping.

The Cookie-Cutter stamp sets coordinate so well with the Suite Seasons stamp set that I decided to make a few more cards using these sets together. Make sure and stop back by this week to see all the fun I had today!!

The Suite Seasons stamp set is on sale right now...

And for this week only Stampin' Up! is having an Online Extravaganza with up to 40% off of fabulous Stampin' Up! products!!!

So be sure to stop by my Stampin' Up! website and place your order TODAY!!

Our neighbors invited over for Thanksgiving this year. I think I will bring this card along as a thank you.

Enjoy your family and friends this Thanksgiving and remember to count your blessings!!

Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Suite Seasons - Merry Everything

Hi Stampin' Friends!!

I am in LOVE with the NEW Stitched Shapes Framelits!!!!

Supplies:

Stamps: Suite Seasons
Paper: Very Vanilla, Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler, Gold Glimmer, This Christmas DSP
Ink: Garden Green
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Layering Circle Framelits, Pine Bough Embossing Folder, Cherry Cobbler Taffeta Ribbon

When I make a lot of the same card, I like to get all my pieces ready before I begin assembly. Also, when I know I will be making more than one card, I try to keep the layout clean and simple. This keeps me from going crazy cutting and prepping and stamping tons of pieces.

This was only 12 cards so it didn't take very long. Even though it is simple, it still has lots of interesting details: the embossed background, the stitched frame layered on the Cherry Cobbler scallop, the gorgeous ribbon, and of course a little sparkle from the Glimmer paper. Cards don't always have to be complicated to have the "WOW" factor.

Make sure you add the Stitched Shapes Framelits on your next order. You won't be sorry!!

There is only a few days left to get a GREAT DEAL on some fabulous Stampin' Up! stamp sets!!! Select stamp sets (that just happen to coordinate with the Stitched Shapes Framelits!!) are 25% off until November 30th!!

I had earned a little Stampin' Up! bonus this year and decided to surprise my current customers with a gift. The Suite Seasons stamp set is one of the sets on sale right now. This stamp set can be found on page 43 of the Holiday Catalog.

It's a great set to add to your collection because it can be used for numerous special occasions and IT'S ON SALE RIGHT NOW!!

If you are still on the fence and need a little extra encouragement, here are more beautiful samples from Stampin' Up!

And this week only Stampin' Up! is offering an AMAZING SALE!!!

So many favulous Stampin' Up! products for up to 40% off!!

Stampin' Up! Foxy Friends - Just Because

Hey Stampin' Friend!!

Long time no blog!!! So sorry I've been MIA. I started an accelerated teacher credential program in August and homework has sucked up ALL of my stamping time and I miss it so much!!!!

But I'm super excited to finally become a teacher. It's only been about 25 years in the making. I graduated from college and attended a teaching credential program and then I fell in love and got married and never finished my credential. So I'm back at it and since I'm still lovin' the same guy, I plan on finishing this time. :)

Back in August I offered an online card class featuring the Foxy Friends stamp set and coordinating punch. I never had time to get the card kits together and sent to my customers until last week. They are so gracious for having to wait so long. I can not apologize enough for the delay.

So today I have the first of four cards from that class.

Supplies:

Stamps: Foxy Friend, Tin of Cards
Paper: Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake, Whisper White, A Little Foxy DSP
Ink: Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Basic Black
Accessories: Fox Builder Punch, Woodland Embossing Folder

Kit Includes:

1 - Cajun Craze card base
1 - Crumb Cake embossed card front
1 - A Little Foxy strip
1 - Crumb Cake piece to stamp stump on
1 - Whisper White piece to stamp fox on
1 - Early Espresso Ribbon (retired)

Instructions:

Stamp fox pieces using Cajun Craze ink onto Whisper White cardstock. When stamping this image, make sure you do not over-ink your stamp. If you do, you will loose the details of the speckles on his face. I stamped him twice and hand cut him out so I could layer his head over his body using Dimensionals.
Stamp the stump image using Early Espresso ink onto the Crumb Cake cardstock. Cut out by hand.
Attach the Crumb Cake embossed card front onto the Cajun Craze card base.
Stamp the sentiment of your choice onto the Little Foxy DSP piece before attaching it to the card front.
Attach the stump onto the card front.
Attach the cute little fox onto the stump using Dimensionals.
Tie the ribbon.

Super cute. Super simple.

I've been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for ten years. This is the first time ever that I am worried about keeping my minimums. I just don't have time for stamping classes right now because of school. And there are so many AMAZING products in the Holiday Catalog that I want to play with!! As soon as I am finished with school, I plan on getting back into my monthly Online Card Classes. But until then, could I please ask you to consider placing a small order to help keep me in business? I would really appreciate it!!!

THANK YOU!!!
I really appreciate all of my loyal customers.
I wouldn't be here without you!!

Enjoy your day and stamp when you can!!

Krystal
