Sale-A-Bration Saturday 2.5.11

Hi Stamping Friends!!

It's my most favorite time of the year, because it is time to earn FREE Stampin' Up! products!!  And what a fabulous assortment of products they are offereing this year.  Everything from stamp sets, to buttons and ribbons, to digital downloads.  I love everything in this catalog, but the one item I wanted first was a stamp set called Bliss.  It has a beautiful swirl image that I just love.  Here's what I've done with it:

BLISS

Stamps:  Bliss, En Francais BG
Paper:  Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Bashful Blue, So Saffron, Very Vanilla
Accessories:  Log Cabin Smooch Spray, Large Scallop Punch, Regular Scallop Punch, Distressing Tool, Paper Piercer, Mat Pack, Basic Pearls, Striped Grograin, Bashful Blue Satin Ribbon, Crochet Lace Trim, Vintage Brads

Sketch Challenge:  CREATE WITH CONNIE AND MARY  CCMC136
Color Challenge:  COLOR THROWDOWN CTD127
Tool Challenge:  CCEE 1105 Punches

I'm really lovin' doing the vintage style cards.  They take a lot more effort for me.  I'm more of a clean and cutesy girl.  I love all the textures and layers and distressing of the vintage style.  This was the first time I used the Smooch Spray.  I may have gone a little overboard.  I usually take the piece of cardstock I want to spray outside.  I first spritz the spray and then wave my piece of cardstock through the mist.  This way I avoid globs.  But it was quite late last night when I was making this card, so it was kind of dark and I couldn't quite see if I had gotten enough on it, so I sprayed it again.  Yep.  A little over zealous.

If you do not currently have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and would like to find out how you can get this gorgeous stamp set for FREE, contact me.  I would love to help you out!!

I'll be back tomorrow with my favorite Stampin' Up! only blog finds of the week.  I hope you will be back too!

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Stamping!
