14 Days of Love Day 6

Hi Stamping Friends!!

Are you ready for more stampin' love?! Today's project was created for my monthly hostess club.

Stamps:  You Are Loved (retired)
Paper:  Real Red, Pretty In Pink, Whisper White, Red Glimmer
Accessories:  Petal Cone die, Perfect Polka Dots EF, Scallop Circle Punch, Heart to Heart Punch, Lace Ribbon Border punch, Boho Blossom Punch, Organdy Ribbon, Glimmer Brad

I wanted to do a little something special with my stamping club gals, so I came up with this cute heart pouch (not my own design, just copied from others) made with the Petal Cone die. Funny thing is, I ended up having to make all six of them because I had to cancel our club meeting!!  :)  This cold and flu season is getting ridiculous! I hand cut the heart and then I punch 3 or 4 scallop circles and layered them under the heart to give the heart a scallop edge. You kind of have to play around and cut the circles. They don't fit under there perfectly. The "Sweet Friend" banner covers up all the "mistakes" quite nicely. In order to emboss the Petal Cone "heart", you have to put it through the Big Shot twice. It's too big to fit into the embossing folder. That little "boo-boo" gets covered up by the You Are Loved heart. Remember, in stamping there are no mistakes, just reasons to get creative!

I'm looking forward to stamping with my club gals again on the 19th of this month. And it should be lots of fun, because I am expecting a HUGE Stampin' Up! order today, so I will have lots of new products to play with.  I can't wait!!!
