Stampin' Up! Foxy Friends - Just Because

Hey Stampin' Friend!!

Long time no blog!!! So sorry I've been MIA. I started an accelerated teacher credential program in August and homework has sucked up ALL of my stamping time and I miss it so much!!!!

But I'm super excited to finally become a teacher. It's only been about 25 years in the making. I graduated from college and attended a teaching credential program and then I fell in love and got married and never finished my credential. So I'm back at it and since I'm still lovin' the same guy, I plan on finishing this time. :)

Back in August I offered an online card class featuring the Foxy Friends stamp set and coordinating punch. I never had time to get the card kits together and sent to my customers until last week. They are so gracious for having to wait so long. I can not apologize enough for the delay.

So today I have the first of four cards from that class.

Supplies:

Stamps: Foxy Friend, Tin of Cards
Paper: Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake, Whisper White, A Little Foxy DSP
Ink: Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Basic Black
Accessories: Fox Builder Punch, Woodland Embossing Folder

Kit Includes:

1 - Cajun Craze card base
1 - Crumb Cake embossed card front
1 - A Little Foxy strip
1 - Crumb Cake piece to stamp stump on
1 - Whisper White piece to stamp fox on
1 - Early Espresso Ribbon (retired)

Instructions:

Stamp fox pieces using Cajun Craze ink onto Whisper White cardstock. When stamping this image, make sure you do not over-ink your stamp. If you do, you will loose the details of the speckles on his face. I stamped him twice and hand cut him out so I could layer his head over his body using Dimensionals.
Stamp the stump image using Early Espresso ink onto the Crumb Cake cardstock. Cut out by hand.
Attach the Crumb Cake embossed card front onto the Cajun Craze card base.
Stamp the sentiment of your choice onto the Little Foxy DSP piece before attaching it to the card front.
Attach the stump onto the card front.
Attach the cute little fox onto the stump using Dimensionals.
Tie the ribbon.

Super cute. Super simple.

I've been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for ten years. This is the first time ever that I am worried about keeping my minimums. I just don't have time for stamping classes right now because of school. And there are so many AMAZING products in the Holiday Catalog that I want to play with!! As soon as I am finished with school, I plan on getting back into my monthly Online Card Classes. But until then, could I please ask you to consider placing a small order to help keep me in business? I would really appreciate it!!!

THANK YOU!!!
I really appreciate all of my loyal customers.
I wouldn't be here without you!!

Enjoy your day and stamp when you can!!

Stampin' Up! Botanical Blooms Plumeria

Hey Stamping Friends!!

Today is the last day of my Botanical Blooms online card class. This is my second favorite card of the set and it is inspired by my hubs favorite flower... Plumeria.

Kit Includes:

1 - Whisper White card base
1 - Mossy Meadow leaf cut card front
1 - Botanical Gardens DSP card front
3 - Pear Pizzazz leaves
1 - Whisper White flower
1 - Hello Honey flower center
1 - Hello Honey ribbon

I was extra nice with this card and cut all your pieces out for you so this card should take less than ten minutes to put together.

Stamp your leaves using Old Olive ink. The sentiment (from Tin of Cards) was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink, but if you don't have that, just use Old Olive.

The center of the Whisper White flower was sponged with a sponged with a sponge dauber using Daffodil Delight ink. Make sure you sponge the center of your flower before you adhere the center Hello Honey stems and before you adhere it to your card. The "plumeria" was attached to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Here is a pic of the plumeria in our backyard:

They are such a beautiful clean white flower with that bright pop of yellow in the center. Just beautiful!! We gave this plant to hubs for Father's Day last year and it finally bloomed this week. When we lived in the Central Valley we were unable to grow plumeria because it was too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. It's nice to be back in SoCal so we can enjoy tropical plants again!!

Thanks so much for joining me this week as I've shared my Botanical Blooms online class cards. Make sure to watch for when I announce my August Online Card Class featuring the Foxy Friends stamp set and matching builder punch.

I almost forgot!!!
I will be a guest designer some time during the month of August on Craft Project Central. How fun is that?!! I will be showcasing a Back to School project featuring the Foxy Friends set which is completely adorable. I hope you will check back i!!

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Botanical Blooms Gardens

Hi Stamping Friends!

Welcome back!! Today I have the fourth card from my Botanical Blooms online card class.

Kit Includes:

1 - Mossy Meadow card base
1 - Whisper White card front
1 - Botanical Gardens DSP card front
1 - Lost Lagoon flower
1 - Mossy Meadow leaf
1 - Hello Honey flower center
1 - Botanical Gardens DSP circle
1 - Botanical Gardens DSP banner
1 - Botanical Gardens Jewel
1 - Lost Lagoon ribbon

Another pretty easy to figure out card. You may want to "faux" assemble (lay out all your pieces before adhering them together) and then stamp your sentiment. This way you can ensure proper placement and if you goof up your stamping, it will be easy to fix since you don't have anything glued into place.

I stamped my leaf and sentiment with Old Olive ink. The sentiment I chose comes from a retired set called Blessings From Heaven. You can choose any sentiment you would like.

I adhered the Botanical Gardens Jewel using a Glue Dot. I love my Glue Dots!!

Tomorrow I have my fifth and final card from the online card class. I hope you will stop by again!

Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Botanical Blooms Sunburst

Hi Stamping Friends!!

Every time I create the kits for my online card classes, I always end up having one favorite card. This is my favorite card in this set...

I love all the bright, tropical colors of the flowers.

Kit Includes:

1 - Crumb Cake card base
1 - Crumb Cake card front embossed with the Woodgrain EF
1 - Burlap Ribbon (retired)
Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Hello Honey, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow cardstock for cutting
2 - Black brads

The only difficult thing about this card is cutting out all of your flower pieces. The flowers go together quickly if you use Glue Dots. For the leaves I used the same color ink as the cardstock. If you do not have Mossy Meadow ink, you can just use Old Olive on all of the leaves.

Looks like I forgot to add a Whisper White banner. It's probably best. That way you can create whatever size you need. The "It's Your Day" sentiment comes from the Sunburst Sayings set, but you can use any sentiment you desire. Or leave it with no sentiment and let the flowers be the center of attention.

I have two more Botanical Blooms cards to share. Usually I only include four cards in the online card kits, but since I was so late getting these out, I added an extra "apology" kit. ;)

Thanks for stopping by!!
Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Botanical Blooms Birthday Wishes

Hi Stamping Friends!!

This week I'm sharing the cards from my Botanical Blooms Online Card Class. The are cute and simple and fun. I hope you enjoy!!

Kit Includes:

1 - Mint Macaron card base
1 - Basic Black card front
1 - Botanical Gardens DSP large strip
1 - Botanical Gardens DSP small strip
1 - Botanical Gardens Vellum piece
1 - Mint Macaron banner for sentiment
1 - Hello Honey flower
Hello Honey, Basic Black, Old Olive cardstock for cutting
2 - Cajun Craze Candy Dots

When assembling this card, remember to use Glue Dots to adhere the vellum onto the Basic Black card front. I attached my vellum first to the Basic Black card front, and then added the Botanical Gardens DSP strips. The yellow strip helps to covers the Glue Dots. The flowers are adhered using Stampin' Dimensionals.

This sentiment comes from the Build a Birthday set, but you could use any sentiment you have that fits onto the banner. I stamped using Basic Black ink.

Stay tuned for more Botanical Blooms!!

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Botanical Blooms Happy Hello

Hi Stampin' Friends,

I finally finished my Botanical Blooms card kits!!! YAY!!! Going to do some fast blogging. The cards are pretty straight forward and don't need a ton of explanation. If anything is unclear, just email me any questions.

Kit Includes:

1 - Hello Honey card base
1 - Botanical Gardens DSP card front
1 - Cajun Craze label
1- Whisper White label
Mint Macaron, Hello Honey, Basic Black, Mossy Meadow cardstock for cutting
1 - Hello Honey Ribbon
1 - Botanical Gardens Jewels

This card doesn't require much explanation. I used the little stem stamp from the Botanical Blooms set to stamp directly onto the Botanical Gardens DSP. Use your Botanical Builder Framelits to cut out the necessary shapes.

I used the sentiment from Tin of Cards. I was planning on using this sentiment set for all of the cards, but I veered off of my original plan and used random sentiments from various sets. You can choose any sentiment you already have.

I use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the label sentiment and the large Hello Honey flower. The Fine-tip Glue Pen works well to adhere the fern-like leaf.

Simple. Fun. Cute.

I will be sharing more tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Stamping!
