Hip Hip Hooray Good As Gold

Hi Stamping Friends!

Today I have the last cards we created at my Hip Hip Hooray card class. Each stamper recieved the Hip Hip Hooray card kit, the Petite Petal Bundle, and Pearls. Since the total came to $50+, they also received a Good As Gold Sale-A-Bration card kit. Thus bringing their card total to 28!!

This is a great little card kit. I had fun changing it up a bit. Other products I used:
Banner Blast stamp set and matching bunch
Petite Petals stamp set and matching punch
Perfect Pennants stamp set and matching Framelits
Starburst Framelits

Don't forget… SALE-A-BRATION ENDS MONDAY MARCH 31!!!

Petal Parade Sale-A-Bration

HI Stamping Friends!!

I can't believe Sale-A-Bration is almost over!! It really is my most favorite stamping time of the year. It's when I feel most motivated to stamp and have classes. It must be because the holiday rush is over and our family is "between sports" (water polo is a fall sport and swimming is a spring sport so not much going on during February and March!). So I actually have time to play with my stamps!!

Like every year, I ended up loving everything in the Sale-A-Bration brochure. At first I wasn't sure about the Sweet Sorbet DSP (the photos do NOT do it justice!) but then I finally had it in my hands and I can't stop using it!! I still have to make my Heartfelt Banner Kit, but it is sitting out in my stamp area so I hope to get to it this weekend.

Here is the third card we made at last Sunday's stamp club. It uses almost all Sale-A-Bration products.

Stamps: Petal Parade, Express Yourself (Hostess)
Paper: Pool Party, Whisper White, Pistachio Pudding, Sweet Sorbet DSP (SAB)
Accessories: Sweet Sorbet Accessories Pack, Circle Punches, Scallop Topper Punch, Boho Blossoms Punch, Adorning Accents Edgelits, BItty Banners Framelits, Rhinestone Jewels

I just love the "spring" look of this card. Soft and pretty. It would make a great Easter card or even a Mother's Day card. Hmmm… I may have to change the sentiment. :)

If you haven't had a chance to shop and earn your FREE Sale-A-Bration products, hurry over to my online store. Don't forget to check out the Weekly Specials and the Clearance Rack.

Best of 25 Years!!!

Hi Stamping Friends!!

Last January Stampin' Up! started celebrating their 25 year anniversary by coming out with a new stamp set every month. They are the "Best of" Stampin' Up! sets. And they are only available until the end of March!!

Here is all 12 of the sets:

I purchased the Best of Birthdays set when it first came out and thought I would devote an entire class around the set. I designed one card and then it sat on my shelf until this past week when I realized that I hadn't showcased any of the "Best of" sets with my stamp club!! So I dusted off my card and stamp set and used it as layout for a new design.

Here is the card we created yesterday:

Stamps: Best of Birthdays
Paper: Crisp Cantaloupe, Very Vanilla, Gold Foil, Sweet Sorbet (SAB)
Accessories: Label Framelit, Pennant Framelits, Oval Punch, Designer Frames EF, Beautifully Baroque EF, Butterfly Punches, Pearl Jewels, Gold Baker's Twine, Dimensionals

The gals loved this card. This one is getting sent for my 40 day Lent Challenge to a sweet lady from our church who turned 89 yesterday.

Here is the original card I made eons ago. It must have been about a year ago because it uses last years Sale-A-Bration DSP!!

I can't decide which one I like better. What about you? Which one do you prefer? It's kind of fun to play around with color and see how much it changes the look of a card.

Don't forget to check out the entire collection of "Best of" stamp sets at my online store:

Just click the SHOP button on the top right corner. And then type in BEST OF in the store search. Plus, if you decide to make a purchase now, you can still take advantage of our Sale-A-Bration promotion. Just spend $50 and earn FREE products!!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend.

Oh Happy Day!!

Hi Stamping Friends!!

Oh Happy Day!! It's Friday and it's raining!!! I should be doing a happy dance. Instead I'm sitting under a cozy afghan, writing this blog post, and listening to the rain falling outside. Supposedly we are expected to get a real "storm" today. But this is California people! We think it's stormy when the wind makes the leaves blow. Californians are weather whimps plain and simple. :)

Today's card was inspired by another card I saw on the internet (like ALL my cards are!). I changed up the paper and the colors a bit, but the layout is very similar. This is the final card we stamped at last Sunday's Stamp Club.

Stamps: Starburst Sayings
Paper: Sweet Sorbet (SAB), Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe, Whisper White
Accessories: Starburst Framelits, Decorative Dots EF (SAB), Circle Punch, In Color Boutique Details, Sweet Sorbet Twine (SAB), Dimensionals

This card is so fun and cheerful. It just makes me smile!

Have you taken advantage of Stampin' Up!'s biggest sale of the year yet?! Sale-A-Bration is only here one more month and then it will be gone until next year. Don't miss out on so many great products for FREE!!!

Visit my website and place your $50 order and you get to choose anything out of the Sale-A-Bration catalog for FREE!!!

I hope you enjoy a happy day today too. I'm looking forward to both of my Hip Hip Hooray classes tomorrow. Make sure you play with your stamps this weekend. :)

You Make Me Happy!!

Hi Staming Friends!!

Today I have another card from Sunday's stamp club. This card was originally designed by Jen Timko at Stampin On The Fly. I've always admired Jen's style.

Stamps: See Ya Later
Paper: Whisper White, Sahara Sand, Daffodil Delight, Quatrefancy DSP, Sweet Sorbet DSP (SAB)
Accessories: Word Bubble Framelits, Decorative Dots EF (SAB), Banner Punch (SAB), Circle Punch, Fringe Scissors, Markers, Dimesionals

I have seen so many cute cards using the SAB Banner Punch as sun rays. It was difficult to choose which one to CASE. I couldn't decide if I wanted to make the sky "blue" or "gray". I ended up CASEing Jen with using Sahara Sand because it matched the Sweet Sorbet DSP "grass". And it makes more since for the sentiment. The Fringe Scissors are so fun to use. Everyone in my family has had to test them out. Even the high school senior son. :)

As I type this, the skies outside my window are gray and it makes me very HAPPY!!!! We live in the Central Valley of California and we are in the midst of a severe drought. I'm not worried about the cost of my water going up, I'm worried about all the farmers in our area who have been told that the state will not be releasing any water this season. Which ultimately could mean loss of crops, which in turn could mean less food for sale and higher prices in the grocery stores. I hope I have gray skies for days!!!! :)

If you would like to get this Banner Punch so you can make this darling sunshine, visit my online store and get yours FREE. Just purchase $50 of Stampin' Up! products and then get the Banner Punch for free during our Sale-A-Bration Promotion.

I Think You're Lovely

Hi Stamping Friends!

I had an awesome weekend of stamping and have lots to share with you over the next few days. On Saturday I held a workshop at Trinity Lutheran Church with their monthly scrap group. They are hosting a fundraiser in April for their Little Lambs Preschool and they wanted to earn some raffle prizes. So far they get to choose $110 in Stampin' Up! products!! I'm so excited for them!!

Then on Sunday I had my monthly stamp club gals come over. What an amazing time we had together. We did a little crying before stamping and then a lot of laughing during our stamping. These women are so dear to me. I am going to miss them immensely when we move!!! I think I will have to come visit once a year just to get together and stamp!!

Here is a card I CASEd from another demonstrator using some of my favorite products for the Sale-A-Bration catalog.

Stamps: You're Lovely (SAB), Petite Petals
Paper: Sweet Sorbet DSP (SAB), Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, Crushed Curry, Whisper White
Accessories: Petite Petals Punch, Modern Label Framelits, Bitty Butterfly Punch, Organza Ribbon, Square Lattice EF, Pearls

I just LOVE how this card turned out. And I LOVE the Sweet Sorbet DSP!! I've had quite a few customers who did not think they wanted the Sweet Sorbet DSP out of them SAB catalog. And then I showed it to them. The catalog just does not do this gorgeous paper justice!! It is so pretty! This is one of my favorite patterns from the pack. So soft and spring like. Perfect for this time of year!!

Visit my online store to purchase $50 of Stampin' Up! products so you can earn the Sweet Sorbet DSP for FREE!!

I can't wait to share more of my weekend stamping fun. So stay tuned!

Happy Stamping!
