Stampin' Up! Wondrous Wreath Thankful

Hi Stamping Friends!!

I've been having so much fun doing seasonal "sets" with stamp sets, that I thought it would be fun to combine the Wondrous Wreath stamp set with the Hostess set Six Sayings to see if I could come up with four unique cards using only two stamp sets.

Here is my first card:

Stamps: Wondrous Wreath, Six Sayings, Hardwood, Gorgeous Grunge (texture on pumpkin)

Ink: Delightful Dijon, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, Soft Suede

Paper: Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla, Corrugated Paper

Accessories: Wonderful Wreath Framelits, Banner Punch, Circle Punch, Linen Thread

This card was inspired by the challenge over at the TGIF challenge blog TGIFC27. This was a remix challenge where you had to choose two of the previous challenges and combine them into one card. Here are the two challenges I chose:

The top challenge piece inspired my color scheme and also the circular, natural feel of the wreath. The bottom challenge inspired me to make a "thankful" card.

I just started to play along in challenges again and it's been fun!! It's great when you can find a challenge blog as talented as the TGIF blog. Those stampers blow me away every time!!

Stampin' Up! Mixed Bunch Freshly Made TGIF

Hey Stampin' Friends!!!

I always love me a good stamping challenge and some of my favorite Stampin' Up! stampers just started a brand new blog, so I (of course!) "had" to play along on their debut challenge!!

Stamps: Mixed Bunch, From My Heart (both on "The List")

Paper: Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Flowerpot DSP, Moonlight DSP, Pool Party DSP

Accessories: Blossom Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Elegant Butterfly Punch, Bitty Butterfly Punch, Calypso Seam Binding, Rhinestone Jewels

The new stamping challenge blog is called TGIF Challenges! Here is a link to their very first color challenge: TGIFC01

They have one of the most talented design teams. I can't wait to see all their amazing creations every week.

And my motto is: If you are going to participate in a color challenge, you might as well find a sketch challenge to go with it.

I chose to use the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches. I always love their clean designs. Here is the link: FMS185

I love challenge blogs. Especially when I need a little extra inspiration. Go check them out and stamp something!!

I'm pretty excited for tomorrow because I'm participating in a blog hop for the first time in FOREVER!!!!

The hop will have ten stops featuring stamp sets that are on "The List". I will be featuring the Stippled Blossom set. This is one set that will end up on my "keep" pile. I'm just not ready to part with it yet!!
