Stampin' Up! Vintage Leaves - Maple Thanks

Hi Stamping Friends!!

Today I have the fourth and final card from my Vintage Leaves Online Card Class. I hope my class participants enjoy making them as much as I enjoyed creating them.

Stamps: Vintage Leaves

Ink: Soft Suede, Mossy Meadow, Delightful Dijon, Tangelo Twist

Paper: Very Vanilla, Tangelo Twist, Hello Honey, Early Espresso, Newsprint DSP, Corrugated Paper

Accessories: Leaflets Framelits, Paper Doily, Circle Framelits, Tangelo Twist Striped Cotton Ribbon, Hello You Thinlits, Brads, Baked Brown Sugar Thick Baker's Twine

Kit Includes:

1 - Very Vanilla card base

1 - Tangelo Twist card front

1 - Newsprint DSP piece

1 - Hello Honey piece for stamping

1 - Paper Doily

1 - Corrugated Paper circle

1 - Tangelo Twist ribbon

1 - Early Espresso "thanks" cut-out

2 - brads

Baked Brown Sugar Thick Baker's Twine

Instructions:

Attach the Tangelo Twist card front onto the Very Vanilla card base.

Using Soft Suede ink, sponge the edges of the Newsprint DSP. Curl edges.

Attach Newsprint DSP to Tangelo Twist card front at an angle, leaving edges slightly curled up.

Attach Corrugated circle onto Paper Doily. Attach onto center of card front.

Stamp the "maple" leaf onto the Hello Honey piece using Soft Suede ink.

Lightly sponge leaf with Delightful Dijon, Tangelo Twist, and Mossy Meadow ink.

It looks messy before you cut it out.

Other alternative inks to use are: Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, and Always Artichoke.

Cut out leaf using Leaflets Framelits.

Sponge edges of leaf with Tangelo Twist ink.

Attach leaf to Corrugated circle using Dimensionals.

Trim ribbon to fit.

Attach using brads. Use your paper piercer to make holes for the brad to go into.

Glue the Early Espresso "thanks" cut-out onto the card front. 

Tie a bow with the Baker's Twine. Attach with a Glue Dot.

And you are DONE!!!

Now you you have four beautiful cards you can share with family and friends.

I didn't realize that the Leaflets Framelits were on backorder. I checked the Stampin' Up! website and it says that they expect to receive more Framelits on November 15. I hope none of you were effected by this backorder and I apologize if you were. At least you should be getting them before Thanksgiving. If worse comes to worse, you could always fussy cut your leaves. They aren't too complicated. ;)

Stampin' Up! Vintage Leaves - Hello Meadow

Hi Stamping Friends!!!

Today I have the third card from my Vintage Leaves Online Class card kit. Even though I use a lot of In-Colors for these cards, I tried to keep the ink colors pretty standard. I used Soft Suede for almost all of them. I always try to offer an alternative ink color just in case someone does not have the exact color I used.

The Vintage Leaves stamp set does not come with sentiments. So feel free to use any sentiment stamps that you have. Mine are just suggestions. You do not use to use the exact same ones as I did.

Stamps: Vintage Leaves, Petite Pairs

Ink: Soft Suede

Paper: Mossy Meadow, Hello Honey, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Happy Haunting DSP (leaf), Retired DSP (woodgrain)

Accessories: Leaflets Framelits, Woodgrain EF, Scallop Topper Punch, Mossy Meadow Striped Cotton Ribbon, Linen Thread, Brown Sugar Thick Baker's Twine

Kit Includes:

1 - Mossy Meadow card base

1 - Hello Honey card front

1 - Crumb Cake embossed card front

1 - Mossy Meadow piece for stamping

1 - Hello Honey piece for stamping

1 - Very Vanilla tag (may need to be trimmed)

1 - Woodgrain DSP strip

1 - Happy Haunting DSP leaf

1 - Mossy Meadow Cotton Ribbon strip

1 - Linen Thread piece

Spool of Brown Sugar Baker's Twine is my little gift to you!!

Instructions:

Attach Hello Honey card front onto the Mossy Meadow card base.

Attach the embossed Crumb Cake card front onto the Hello Honey card front. Liquid glue works best with an embossed piece of cardstock.

Attach the Woodgrain DSP strip onto the Crumb Cake card front.

Stamp the "oak" leaf onto the the Hello Honey piece using Soft Suede ink.

Stamp the "standard" leaf shape onto the Mossy Meadow piece using Soft Suede ink.

Stamp your sentiment onto the Very Vanilla tag.

Cut out leaf shapes using Leaflets Framelits.

Slide the Mossy Meadow ribbon through the tag slot. Secure with Linen Thread.

Attach tag onto card front using Dimensionals.

Attach "oak" leaf onto left side of tag using Dimensionals.

Attach "standard" leaf onto right side of tag using Dimensionals.

Attach Happy Haunting DSP leaf on top of other two leaves using Dimensionals.

Tie bow with Thick Baker's Twine. Attach to leaf with Glue Dots.

And you are DONE!!

Super easy!

Stampin' Up! Vintage Leaves - Tip Top Cajun

Hi Stamping Friends!!

I have another Vintage Leaves card for you today. This was the first card I created for this kit. I've seen many variations of this design using the Vintage Leaves set. This is my take on it.

Stamps: Vintage Leaves, Acorny Thank You (sentiment)

Ink: Tip Top Taupe or Soft Suede, Sahara Sand or Crumb Cake

Paper: Tip Top Taupe, Cajun Craze, Sahara Sand, Gold Glimmer, Vellum

Accessories: Leaflets Framelits, Washi Label Punch, Woodland EF, Tip Top Taupe Dotted Lace Trim, Gold Sequins Trim, Gold Baker's Twine

Kit Includes:

1 - Tip Top Taupe card base

1 - Cajun Craze card front

1 - Sahara Sand embossed card front

1 - Vellum piece for stamping

1 - Tip Top Taupe piece for stamping

1 - Cajun Craze piece for stamping

1 - Tip Top Taupe Washi Label punch (not pictured)

1 - Gold Glimmer leaf

1 - strip of Gold Sequin Trim

1 - strip Gold Baker's Twine

1 - strip of Tip Top Taupe Dotted Lace Trim

Instructions:

Attach Cajun Craze card front to the Tip Top Taupe card base.

Attach Sahara Sand embossed card front to the Cajun Craze card front.

Stamp the "oak" leaf stamp onto the Vellum piece using Sahara Sand or Crumb Cake ink.

Stamp the other two leaves using Tip Top Taupe or Soft Suede ink onto the Tip Top Taupe and Cajun Craze pieces.

Stamp sentiment of your choice onto the the Washi Label punch with Tip Top Taupe or Soft Suede ink.

Cut out leaves with Leaflet Framelits.

Layer leaves onto top left corner of the card front using Dimensionals.

Attach sentiment using Dimensionals.

Tie the Tip Top Taupe Lace Trim around top of card. 

Attach Gold Sequin Trim by tying it on the lace with the Gold Baker's Twine.

Trim edges.

FINISHED!!

This stamp set does not come with any sentiments. So you can choose whatever sentiment you want for your cards.

I love the pop of gold on this card. It really adds some sparkle. And we can all use a little more sparkle in our worlds!!!

Stampin' Up! Vintage Leaves - Chocolate Tangerine

Hi Stamping Friends!!

Today I will share my first card of my four Vintage Leaves cards that I created as card kits for my Online Stamping Class. I called this one Chocolate Tangerine because of the paper I used. But think it's kind of fun!!

I finished prepping these kits yesterday but still need to get them in the mail. Hopefully you will have them by Friday so you can stamp your heart out this weekend.

Stamps: Vintage Leaves

Ink: Soft Suede

Paper: Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip. Tangerine Tango, Newsprint DSP Happy Haunting DSP, Gold Glimmer, Corrugated Paper

Accessories: Leaflets Framelits, Acorn Builder Punch, Burlap Ribbon, Expressions Natural Elements, Baked Brown Sugar Thick Baker's Twine (retired)

Kit Includes:

1 - Very Vanilla card base

1 - Chocolate Chip card front

1 - Happy Haunting DSP card front

1 - Tangerine Tango sheet for stamping

1 - Corrugated leaf

1 - Newsprint leaf

1 - Gold Glimmer acorn

1 - Newsprint acorn

1 - Corrugated acorn top

1 - Chocolate Chip top

1 - Burlap Ribbon strip

1 - Celebrate OR Thanks Natural Element (I didn't have enough of just one.)

And my gift to you... a spool of Baked Brown Sugar Thick Baker's Twine!! (not pictured)

Instructions:

Attach the Chocolate Chip card front onto the Very Vanilla card base.

Attach the the Happy Haunting DSP onto the Chocolate Chip card front.

Stamp the "maple" leaf stamp using Soft Suede ink.

Cut out leaf using the Leaflets Framelits.

Gently bend leaf on "vein" lines to give it more dimension.

Cut Burlap Ribbon at desired angle.

Attach Burlap Ribbon using Glue Dots.

Tuck the "maple" leaf under the Burlap Ribbon. Attach with glue or SNAIL.

Tuck the "oak" leaf under the "maple" leaf. Attach with glue or SNAIL.

Tuck the newsprint leaf under the "maple" leaf but on top of the "oak" leaf. Attach with glue or SNAIL.

Glue the acorn tops onto the acorns. Liquid glue or Glue Dots work best when attaching anything to the Glimmer paper.

Attach the newsprint acorn onto the Burlap Ribbon using glue or Glue Dots.

Attach the gold Glimmer acorn using Dimensionals.

Attach the Expressions Natural Element onto the Burlap Ribbon using Glue Dots.

Tie a piece of Baker's Twine around the top.

DONE!!!

I love all the different textures of this card. Burlap, wood, cardboard, glitter. They are all there!! I hope you love it too.

Stampin' Up! Vintage Leaves Online Stamp Class

Hey Stampin' Friends!!

I'm excited to announce my October Online Stamp Class featuring the Vintage Leaves Bundle. Here is a card I recently made using this set:

Stamps: Vintage Leaves, Blessings from Heaven (sentiment)

Ink: Soft Suede, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Brushed Gold

Paper: Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Crushed Curry

Accessories: Leaflets Framelits, Banner Triple Punch, Woodgrain EF, retired button, Gold Baker's Twine

This card is much more sparkly in person when the gold ink glimmers. The leaf was so simple to do. It just uses an easy sponging technique.

I first stamped my leaves on Crushed Curry cardstock using Soft Suede ink.

Next I sponged on some Cajun Craze ink.

Then I stamped on some Cherry Cobbler ink.

Finally, after I cut them out with the Leaflets Framelits, I sponged some Brushed Gold ink onto the edges for some sparkle.

So very easy and yet looks so pretty on the card.
