Hi Stampers! In honor of Breast Cancer Awarness month, Arielle found these adorable rain boots as our color inspiration this week for the ColourQ. Pink and black is such a classic combination. I couldn't wait to make my card this week. And for once, I wasn't the last one to upload my card for Arielle. It's a miracle I tell ya!!
RIBBON OF HOPE
For this card I used one of Stampin' Up!s "a la carte" stamps called Ribbon of Hope. I've had the stamp for awhile, but had never inked it up This was the perfect opportunity to get it dirty. The card base is Pretty In Pink. The black polka dot DSP is from the current Neutrals Pattern DSP Stack. The Pink Pirouette polka dot DSP is from the retired Sweet Pea stack (LOVED that stack!) and the Regal Rose polka dot DSP is retired from last years big catty. It's called Sweet Always, which was another one of my favorite DSPs. The sentiment comes from a retired set called Refuge and Strength. It's one of those sets that I will never part with.
Of course I had some help with this fabulous sketch. It's from the weekly sketch challenge over at my favorite Stampin' Up! only online hangout: Stampin' Addicts. If you love SU! as much as I do, you should stop on over sometime. They have an awesome SUO gallery that is organized by stamp set. It's a great place to get ideas and meet other SU! fans.
Make sure to stop by the ColourQ and see all the gorgeous cards the rest of the design team has created. And while your there, why don't you upload a creation of your own!! We would love to have you play along with us this week.
And don't forget about Breast Cancer Awareness month. Almost everyone I know, knows someone who has been affected by this terrible disease. Within the last 2 years, I've had two of my stamp club ladies who fought this battle. Thankfully, they both won. I wish it was called Breast Cancer Cure month, because I look forward to the day when we can finally STAMP out cancer.
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Stamping!

Perfect use of this stamp. Your colors are great, too. I love the black lace and pink Ribbon together.
