My Most Favorite Cards of 2016!!

Hi Stampin' Friends!!

Over the last couple of days I've shared my most viewed cards and my most pinned cards of 2016. Today I'm going to share my personal most favorite cards of 2016.

These are in no particular order. They are just the ones I like the most. :)

And I'm sure you've just all been dying to know which card of 2016 was the most viewed AND the most pinned. Well, the wait is over!!

MOST VIEWED AND MOST PINNED CARD OF 2016

I didn't get to stamp as much as I would have liked to this past year. Life has a funny way of taking you on meandering paths you didn't realize you were meant to walk down. Who would have ever thought that I would be a grad student at this point in my life?!

But thanks to my awesome customers, I have been able to continue being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and when things settle down and I figure out what my new normal looks like, I will be able to create more. Who knows... I may even get students stamping in my classroom!!

As this year comes to a close (my 10th with Stampin' Up!), I just want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who stops by and visits my small corner of the world wide web. I've been blogging since 2008. Some years I have more to share than others, but through it all I've created some amazing friendships and for that I will be forever grateful.

I would like to leave you with a blessing that I hope will strengthen you in the New Year.
Numbers 6:24-26
"The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace."

Blessing Friends!!
Happy New Year and Happy Stamping!!

My Most Pinned Stampin' Up! Cards of 2016!!

Hi Stampin' Friends!!

I had so much fun seeing which cards were viewed on my blog the most, I thought I would see which of my cards were pinned the most from my Pinterest Board: Krystal's Cards 2016 Stampin' Up! Projects

I used the same criteria as I did yesterday. I'm sharing every card that was re-pinned over 100 times. Most cards barely squeaked by the 100 mark. But a couple of them totally surprised me!! One card was pinned over 4,000 times and another card was pinned over 5,000 times!!

Here are my most pinned cards of 2016:

Make sure you click on the above Pinterest Board link if you are looking for more information on how to create these cards. The board has direct links to my specific blog posts.

When I look at this card as entire group, you can definitely see my card creating style. I like clean lines and bright colors. And lots of ribbons tied around the top!! :)

My Most Viewed Stampin' Up! Cards of 2016!

Hey Stampin' Friends!!

One of my favorite things to see on people's blogs this time of year is a "year-in-review" of all of their stampin' creations. This year I decided to look to see which of my blog posts received the most "views". Anytime one of my posts goes over the 100 mark it's a BIG DEAL.

These cards were all looked at over 200 times. One card had over 4,000!!! I have no idea who shared it to get that much traffic to my blog, but... THANK YOU!!!

In no particular order, these are my most looked at cards in 2016:

Can you guess which card was looked at over 4,000 times?!

Stay tuned... I'll let you know soon. ;)

Stampin' Up! Santa's Sleigh - Wishes

Hey Stampin' Friends!!

I have another Christmas card for you today!!

Unbelievable right?! I haven't blogged for months and then I'm blogging like every other day!!

Actually, all these cards were created and blog posts written the day before Thanksgiving. I had the week off and was able to finally squeeze in some stamping time. Right about now I should be up to my eyeballs in homework.

But the end is in sight!! By June I should have my teaching credential and by the next June I should have my Master's degree. Who says you can't go to college when you are old!! ;)

Stamps: Santa's Sleigh
Ink: Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso
Paper: Whisper White, Real Red, Garden Green, Soft Suede, Candy Cane Lane DSP
Accessories: Santa's Sleigh Thinlits, Softly Falling EF, Rhinestone Jewel, Gold Cord (retired)

This card was pretty much CASEd from dozens I've seen on the internet. But it was just too pretty to change!! I love the little scenes you can make with this set.

I've had so much fun stamping and blogging again. I hope I can find time for it again soon. If you don't see me around much, know that I am still around and appreciate all of you. I'm just studying instead of stamping.

And a GREAT BIG THANK YOU to all of you who have placed orders with me recently. It is SO MUCH appreciated!!!

Stampin' Up! Detailed Santa

Hi Stampin' Friends!!

One of my most favorite Stampin' Up! products is their Framelits and Thinlits. I don;t know how I ever stamped without them!!

When I saw the Holiday Catalog I just knew that I wanted to order the Detailed Santa Thinlit Die. I didn't purchase the coordinating Greetings from Santa stamp set because I figured I had plenty of sentiments that I could use.

I was wrong. I don't have that many Christmas sentiments after all. But I made do. Here are two cards I created with the die...

Stamps: Holly Jolly Greetings
Ink: Basic Back
Paper: Real Red, Whisper White, Candy Cane Lane DSP
Accessories: Detailed Santa Thinlit, retired ribbon

Stamps: Six Sayings (retired hostess)
Ink: Basic Black
Paper: Real Red, Whisper White, Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer
Accessories: Detailed Santa Thinlit, Rhinestone Jewels, Winter Wonderland Embellishments (retired), black ribbon (retired)

I tried to dress up my second Santa by coloring his glasses black and adding a little sparkle with the Rhinestones and the Glimmer paper on his hat. What's great about the Detailed Santa Thinlit is you don't have to do much to create a fabulous card because the Thinlit does all the work for you!!

I used my Precision Base Plate and it cut out this delicate die perfectly. I always run my detailed dies through my Big Shot twice just to make sure it cuts through all the pieces. To remove extra small pieces I use my paper piercing tool.

The Detailed Santa Thinlit makes quick, beautiful cards that will impress your friends and family. Make sure you order it before January 3rd when the Holiday Catalog goes away forever.

My Stampin' Up! Nativity Obsession

Hi Stampin' Friends!!

Well I did it. I scoured the internet and tried to find cards I've created over the years using nativity stamp sets from Stampin' Up!

Starting from the oldest to the newest.

That was a fun walk down memory lane!! It appears that I do not have as many sets as I thought. Of course there may be some Stampin' Up! nativity sets out there that I'm not aware of. If you know of any, let me know. I may just need to add to my collection. ;)

Do you have any particular stamp sets that you just have to have? I'd love to know what other stampers are collecting.

What's also fun about looking at some of my older cards is to see how many new and fabulous products that Stampin' Up! has come out with over the years. I don't know how I lived without a Big Shot and Framelits!!! And Glimmer paper?! LOVE!!

What are some of your "can't live without" Stampin' Up! products?
