Stampin' Up! @numberonemother

Hey Stampin' Friends!!

Today was supposed to be the Retirement Stamp Blog Hop, but some of the gals needed an extra week to get their projects done. so the hop will be NEXT Friday, May 8th. Just in time for Mother's Day!!

Since I couldn't post the cards I've been working on, I thought I should stamp something real quick to share with you. I'm hoping to use some of my stamps that are on "The List" before June 2nd.

I decided to use my@SoSocial set since I've only used one stamp out of the whole set.

Stamps: @SoSocial, Petal Potpourri
Paper: Garden Green, Hello Honey, Whisper White, Flowerpot DSP
Accessories: Blushing Bride Chevron Ribbon, Flower Medallion Punch, Scallop Punch

To make things a little easier, I used a sketch challenge. I say let the professionals do the hard work! This sketch comes from Nacho Average Challenge: NAC139

Here is a picture of the sketch:

I just noticed that I should have lowered my sentiment. Whoops!! Oh well. It's close. ;)

I thought this sentiment was perfect since Mother's Day is fast approaching. I'm hoping to send out a bunch of Mother's Day cards next week to all the women in my life who do their very best taking care of their families. This mothering gig is tough. We all could use a little encouragement. :)

The Petal Potpourri stamp set did not carry-over to the new catalog. So if you haven't ordered it, you better get it before the Occasions catalog ends on June 2.

I also wanted to use the Flowerpot DSP, because that also is not in the new catty. And since I hadn't even opened it, I figured it was time. And all the chevron ribbon is being retired which makes me a little sad.

I'm hoping to post more cards using sets that are on "The List" in the coming weeks.

Remember that some products are only available while supplies last so order ASAP!!
